Welcome to Film in Edmonton
The Edmonton Film Office is pleased to serve as your liaison to make film projects happen here. Think of us as your facilitators.
Allow us to make your work easier. We’ll assist with the permitting processes and permissions with the City of Edmonton and the Government of Alberta. We work closely with the Alberta Film Commission, which is located in Edmonton; Alberta’s capital city. We’ll also assist with scouting and serve as your liaison between local businesses. Edmonton City Council voted on August 31, 2011 to support negotiations with Kilburn Media on establishing the Edmonton Filmed Entertainment Fund. An announcement will be made once an agreement has been finalized.
